What is RTT therapy, and is it right for you?

For many people, the concept of hypnotherapy might seem unconventional or intimidating. The use of hypnotherapy and hypnosis for medical or emotional conditions is largely considered a new-age treatment, but the practice has actually been around for thousands of years. In fact, there’s evidence to suggest that hypnosis has existed since the beginning of recorded history, even though the term “hypnotism” wasn’t coined until the 1840s. Today, hypnotherapy can be effectively used to help people who are struggling with issues including depression, anxiety, addiction, and phobias.

What is rapid transformational therapy?

Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) is a hybrid form of therapy developed by Marisa Peer, an internationally known therapist who has worked with many Fortune 500 executives, celebrities, and royalty over the past 30 years. It combines the most beneficial principles of Hypnotherapy, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), Psychotherapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapies. RTT is designed to deliver rapid, permanent results to people who are struggling with physical or emotional pains.

There are many benefits to RTT Hypnotherapy. Some of the most common issues clients resolve include:

  1. Anxiety

  2. Stress

  3. Depression

  4. Confidence issues

  5. Self-esteem issues

  6. Panic attacks

  7. Performance anxiety

  8. Weight loss

  9. Relationship problems

It’s a very safe and relaxing process that will allow you to access your subconscious mind and uncover the root cause of your struggles.

During a typical RTT Hypnotherapy session, guided hypnosis is used to explore the parts of the mind which hold answers to some of your deepest challenges and questions about yourself. You will be aware and in complete control throughout the session, so there’s no need to worry about divulging information you might not be ready or willing to talk about. You will simply work with a therapist such as Coach Monique to understand, feel, and heal the blocks which prevent you from living the life you desire.

Is RTT Hypnotherapy the right treatment for you?

If you’re considering trying RTT Hypnosis, start by answering the following questions:

  1. Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, confidence issues, or phobias?

  2. Have you tried therapy or are you currently in therapy, but not getting the results you need?

  3. Do you want to feel better or enjoy more of your life, but don’t know how?

If you answered “Yes!” to any of the above, then you might be a good candidate for RTT Hypnotherapy!

Is RTT safe?

While we are all unique and there are no guarantees, the vast majority of people can be hypnotized. Some clients drop into a hypnotic state quickly and remain still with their eyes closed, while others take longer or may even keep their eyes partially open during the session. No two experiences are the same, but results can be achieved either way.  In my 17+ years of working with clients, I have never had a client who was not able to be hypnotized and who didn’t experience some positive results.

Does Rapid Transformational Therapy really work?

My clients typically experience results in three ways:

Connecting Behaviors

They are changed by the experience of the RTT Hypnosis session because they were able to connect a lifelong or current  “problem behavior” to a past event.

For example, many clients discover that their fear of failure results in procrastination or finding excuses to not 100% try to reach a goal or pursue a dream. Oftentimes they can connect a specific event or experience when, as a young person, they got the message, “it’s bad to fail.”  Many years later, as an adult, their coping mechanism is to procrastinate or not try at all as a way to protect them from the possibility of failing. Once they understand why they have procrastinated, it becomes easier to change that behavior to one that leads to success.

Change thoughts, beliefs & expectations

They begin to notice gradual changes in their thoughts, beliefs, expectations, or behaviors soon after the RTT Hypnosis session.

For example, a client who typically struggled to “voice their opinions” may suddenly find themselves feeling much more relaxed and comfortable speaking up.

Retroactive Change without conflict

They experience retroactive changes, meaning at some point, they recognize they are just different and often feel as if their “old way of being” simply doesn’t exist anymore…it may even feel like something from a distant past.

For example, someone who struggled with anxiety for years may suddenly notice weeks or a month after their RTT Hypnosis that they can’t remember the last time they felt anxious, and they aren’t even sure when that change happened. Not being anxious is just their “new normal.”

However, it’s important to understand that each individual’s experience with RTT Hypnotherapy will be unique to them. There is no linear path to success.

RTT hypnotherapy, bipolar & other conditions

RTT Hypnotherapy is not recommended for anyone who has been diagnosed with seizures, epilepsy, or serious mental health issues such as Bipolar disorder, Schizophrenia, Borderline Personality Disorder, hallucinations, or delusions.

Of course, the best way to determine whether or not RTT Hypnotherapy is the right treatment for you is to consult with an RTT Practitioner.  If you think RTT Hypnotherapy is a potential solution for you, it’s important to do thorough research to determine who is the best RTT Therapist for you and your goals. Experience not only in hypnotherapy is important, but also in personal and professional development can be essential to optimal outcomes.

While there are many good RTT therapists, finding someone who not only has deep experience with hypnotherapy but also training in related fields can make all the difference to your outcomes. This is not an area of your life where you should choose based on price, but rather focus on value. You will be happy you did.

Coach Monique is an RTT Therapist

I know that RTT Hypnotherapy will change your life forever because it changed mine.

After a 40-year struggle with my soft drink addiction, I knew that decreasing my soda consumption would be necessary to lose weight. I had been successfully using hypnotherapy in my coaching practice for over 10 years when I read about RTT Hypnotherapy, and I was curious enough that I decided to try it for my own weight loss.

Because of my years of personal work and my career as a Change Management Coach, I have a unique understanding of the challenges that often accompany long-term sustainable change. Because of that knowledge and my own change, I was confident this new program would benefit others. I traveled to London to study at the Imperial College with Marisa Peer so that I could bring RTT Hypnotherapy to my coaching clients.

Five days after my RTT Hypnotherapy session, my husband remarked that our recycling bin was nearly empty as he put out the garbage. He asked, “Are you cutting back on the Coca- Cola?” Confused by his question, I said “no.”

That was my “a-ha moment.” I realized I hadn’t thought about soda for several days—which was unthinkable for me at the time. I was a two to five Coca-Cola’s-a-day kind of person. Intrigued, I noticed Coca-Cola was no longer a trigger, nor was I tempted to drink it.

Certified RTT Therapist

With my certification in hand, I was one of only three RTT Practitioners in the United States at the time. To this day, I am one of the only RTT Practitioners with a full-time professional coaching practice, trademarked tools, advanced training, and over 17 years of hypnotherapy experience.

While I am still a supporter of traditional talk therapy, it is not the answer for everyone every time. 75% of my clients have tried or are currently in therapy. They call me because they’re not getting the results they want. Once we work together, they typically begin to experience rapid results beginning with their first session.

RTT Hypnotherapy remains a powerful and vital tool that I regularly use with my clients. Using RTT Hypnotherapy, combined with my trademarked tools and techniques, plus my training based in Brain-Science, Emotional Intelligence, and the Psychology of Happiness, I help my clients overcome a myriad of problems. My specialties include stress, anxiety, depression, and confidence issues.

With RTT Hypnotherapy, you can Unlock Bold Change™ in your life, just like I did in mine. If you’re ready to get started, reach out to Coach Monique to start seeing results.
